Continuing with our favorite Mazda cars that were displayed at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon we will talk about the 2013 RX-8. Although the RX-8 is no longer sold in North America, Mazda will continued to sell it for another year in Japan. To help mark the final year of production of its rotary-powered 4-door coupe after nearly a decade of being in Mazda showrooms. Mazda has commissioned the 2013 Mazda RX-8 Spirit R.
The Spirit R trim level is the high-performance variant of Mazda’s rotary sports car. This show car takes that high-performance theme to even greater heights, with 20-inch BBS alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, and a lowered stance.
Although its not available for sale in North America, it is available as a DLC car on Forza 4. The only RX-8 you can own in which oil consumption isn’t a problem.
