Diesel power will find new homes under the hoods of Mazda vehicles in the U.S. starting in early 2013, spokesman Jeremy Barnes tells us. “It’ll be here between 15 and 18 months behind the launch of the Skyactiv-G gasoline engine in the Mazda 3.” That car hit the market in October of last year, so the math says to expect a diesel Mazda between January and April of 2013.
