I always felt that the cx-7 was nearly almost there. It reminded me of a muscular person who is bloated. Believed it needed slightly more aggressive styling with better defined creases.

The Mazda3 had that on their GT models with the GFX body.

Hi Cody,

The carpet kits are always available here on the site. We have had several blog posts in 2012.

Delivery would take about 5-8 business days to your door.

My mazda 3 is a 2007. I've was out of the country for 2 winters and the car was stored in my garage and there is excess rust underneath. I took it in for the regular oil change to a Mr. Lube and the mechanic commented on how bad it was. He took me under the car to show me and I snapped some photos and took it into the Mazda dealership. They were useless and told me it was normal. A year later they sent out a letter saying they will rust proof under the car because it has been an issue with the car (all mazda 3's). The rust already started growing so rust proofing now is a little too late. I will never buy another mazda because of this.

[...] Thanks for taking the time to reply. Since this post I have done even more digging on the net. I have an AMP already, but don't really want to physically modify the car too much, especially not the glove box. I've settled on putting the AMP in the boot because under the seats is tight (got air vents down there too) and probably a greater risk of theft. As I say, since the last post I've done more research and actually started work. Removed the glove box to run the power cable through the firewall to the engine bay etc. Now looking at removing the center console to run wires to the back.
Replacing something as simple as a hinge with motors, gears, wires and electronics? not a good idea IMHO.
