When Mazda introduced the all-new 2014 Mazda3 to the world, they promised that it would be a car that would produce waves and be a game changer.  For all intents and purposes they were correct.  They have delivered on that promise by creating a car that is stylish, elegant and more upscale than one would expect.

During the introduction of the new 3, Mazda claimed this compact car would be a game changer. With such a presumptuous claim, our expectations were sky high. But after each staffer took a first drive in the 2014 Mazda3, they came back with the same impression; what a great vehicle.

The Mazda3 was pitted against some worthy competitors on the short list including, Mercedes Benz CLA, Chevy Impala, Cadillac CTS and its stable mate, the 2014 Mazda6.
